Out of porportions

In this project we were supposed to add things that were completely out of porportion.

Reflections

In this picture I tried to make it look like there were presents reflecting off of the ornament.

Retouching

We used the healing patch to retouch the blemishes on skin.

Fine arts poster

Our county has a festival every year that shows off students artwork. We were asked to make a poster advertising it. This is mine

David Hockney

David hockney is an artist that takes parts of pictures and makes them look like there are diffrent pictures making up the whole. Here is my version

Portriats

We had a shooting assignment where we took pictures of people. We did three things with these pictures: custom shape, ink sketch, and cross processing.

Changes

In the project we Took pictures and duplicated them, then we added things or took them away from one pictures. Try and find the differences!

Photo Aging

The point of this assignment was to take a picture and make it look like it has been old and used. We made is sepia colored and added spill marks using a coffee stain brush.

Lights

The light project was when we used the pen tool and we turned the pen different ways. We then used a glow and turned the pen marks so it formed a ball.  The second one i followed a tutorial to make.

The artist that I used was Moira Mclaughlin. She is an artist that mainly does dogs, cats, and children. I really liked her style so i decided to choose her as my artist. here is one of her pictures:

I used a cat and lots of different  backgrounds to create a lion mane.

cool and warm hands

We were assigned to take pictures of hands doing things. We then made three filters :warm, emerald, cool, and gradient map. we changed the way they reacted with each other and then colored in different parts of the picture.

Typography

These pictures were created by using letters, numbers, and symbols from the keyboard.

mid term

For the midterm we had to:
select 2 people from a picture and copy and paste them to a picture of a street.
we had to give them shadows
we had to layer mask a fire hydrant onto the street
and we had to clone away numbers on the top of the picture

sharpening.

With these pictures i first opened them in camera raw and changed the resolution. then i duplicated the layer and changed it to overlay, next i went to filter and picked high pass. then I changed it to whatever looked best.

Macro

These are pictures i found on the internet that people took using the macro option on their cameras

jumping off the page

This is a picture of a cat. to make him look like he is coking out of the page a quick masked all of his surroundings and then i changed the colors in the background and added a white box with a shadow

Some of them I color corrected and others i changed into black and white or sepia colored

These are the pictures that I took for the rule of thirds project. The first one was of people, the second one was of repetition, the 3rd one was of a line, the fourth one was of landscape and the last one was of a nature.
